About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Consultant to join our RELEX family in Spain.
The Job Description
As a Business Consultant, you will work on various customer projects, conducting supply chain-related analysis from the presales phase to supporting implementation projects of our RELEX solution for the customer.
You will develop towards a deeper expertise in supply chain optimization to become a trusted advisor for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and lead different aspects of retail and supply chain planning development projects in demand forecasting, inventory management, analytics, and retail process development.
* Gather business requirements from clients, build configurations, and train end-users.
* Collaborate with customers to meet their business goals.
* Work with clients as a consultant to understand and optimize their business processes, identifying areas to increase sales, reduce costs, and maximize efficiency through optimized product assortments and inventory management.
* Perform business analysis and problem-solving activities at strategic, operational, and organizational levels.
Your Qualifications
* 2-5 years of experience in consulting, supply chain management, demand forecasting, inventory management, business analytics, or another relevant area in retail/consulting industry.
* Experience in software implementation and gathering requirements, process design, training, and user testing support as a consultant or customer.
* Excellent academic record in Industrial Management, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Information Management, or other relevant subject expertise.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Fluency in Spanish and English.
* Availability to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with a Grocery/Catalog Retailer or Supplier.
* Experience in pricing and promotional planning, merchandising, and category development and store operations.
* Ability to interact confidently with customer stakeholders from end users to C-level.
* Entrepreneurial attitude with interest in growing the business.
* Outstanding work ethic and sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
* Knowledge of Catalan, Italian, French, and/or Portuguese language.
