Job Description
Lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery. Provide support on Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for an aspect of service delivery and ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Helping to establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters;
2. Identifying and ensuring that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues;
3. Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project;
4. Project planning, including producing the detailed project plan;
5. Advising upon the procurement of resources;
6. Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team;
7. Monitoring and applying performance management techniques;
8. Managing the change control process;
9. Monitoring and advising upon project finances;
10. Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications;
11. Preparing formal project progress and other reports;
Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
Qualifications
1. Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years project management experience, preferably gained doing offices or retail projects.
3. English and Spanish professional level.
4. Professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, or architecture.
5. A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.
6. Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
