Who are We?
Splio is a scale-up in the marketing and digital technology market, headquartered in Paris. The company has about 200 employees in 4 offices across Europe and MEA.
Splio publishes a SaaS marketing platform that integrates CDP and Marketing Automation, as well as all essential CRM features (loyalty, Mobile Wallets), into a single platform powered by AI.
The platform enables CRM teams in retail, e-commerce, FMCG, and Telecoms to communicate and engage with their customers in a personalized manner across all channels (email, SMS, Push Wallet...).
More than 500 retail, e-commerce, FMCG, and Telecom companies across Europe and the MEA use Splio on a daily basis, including Nature et Découvertes, Longchamp, Bazarchic, APC, The Kooples, Fnac-Darty, Micromania, Faguo, Cyrillus, Orange, and Samsung.
About the position
Your daily missions will include:
1. Integrate a feature team working with lightweight development workflows, requiring a high level of autonomy and a strong sense of ownership.
2. Work closely with the Splio’s front guild to ensure best practices are applied across the teams and our stack follows the market trend.
3. Work closely with Product/UI/UX team to implement the designed user-friendly components.
4. Manage performance of a real-time web application displaying a high density of data.
5. Contribute daily to all parts of our application’s code base: code review, test, architecture design.
6. Constantly interface with the teams involved in the project to ensure a high-quality product is continuously deployed.
Stack: Languages: Javascript, TypeScript, ReactJS, Redux. Dev Env: Gitlab, Docker, K8S.
Tech (80%):
1. Contribute to the overall engineering at Splio.
2. Contribute to the development with your team.
3. Proactively ensure that security, reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency are included in technical and architectural discussions.
4. Keep up to date with the latest relevant technologies, continually evaluating their use for Splio.
Leadership (20%):
1. As a Senior Software Engineer, you provide guidance, allowing teams to discover and learn independently.
2. You can handle a high level of complexity and bring clarity to those complex problems.
3. Actively question decisions and provide guidance and your own experience to ensure no stone is left unturned and risks are identified and highlighted.
4. Collaborate with other teams when necessary for the product you’re building.
Profile:
1. Excellent communication skills to build relationships, trust, and respect.
2. A solid background in technology allowing you to handle new technologies & challenge technical choices.
3. Good technical architectural skills.
4. A strong interest in engineering practices.
5. Able to lead by example, hands-on and ownership.
6. Comfortable in dealing with change and uncertainty during the software development lifecycle.
7. Good knowledge about Agile development practices.
8. Good English skills (speaking and writing).
