About the Job
Due to rapid growth and increasing complexity, we need to expand our finance team with a Finance Controller.
Responsibilities
* Manage accounts and reporting for Hastee and its subsidiaries in Spain and the UK.
* Reconcile cashed-out accounts, post salaries, depreciation, accruals, prepayments, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
* Cash flow analysis and preparation of cash flow statements.
* Variance analysis to forecasted budgets.
* Year-end account preparation.
* Transaction management (purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations, credit risk assessment, payroll preparation) supported by a junior finance manager.
* Taxes management.
* Annual R&D claim preparation.
Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in accountancy within Fintech, Technology, SaaS or Financial services with Debt Products preferred.
* Experience leading small finance teams.
* Knowledge of managing accounting and tax agencies in the UK & SP.
* Problem solver with high energy and curiosity.
* Ability to innovate and build solutions that can scale.
* Experience with transfer pricing policies desirable.
* Experience with consolidated accounts desirable.
* English mandatory and Spanish highly desirable.

Working Arrangements
* Full-time role.
* Hybrid work environment with core days in the office and remote working.
* Parental leave coverage position (9 months) with some possibilities to stay in the team after that.
