The Finance Director role requires a higher level, visionary Executive who can implement change and significantly contribute to the future strategic direction of the business, as a leading part of the Management Team together with the MD.
The Finance Director will continue the implementation of a change programme of systems, processes, and people, working closely with the MD to deliver the 5-year plan.
He/She will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the company's financial health. This role involves financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.
* Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance.
* Oversee budgeting, accounting, closing, forecasting, and financial modelling.
* Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to Headquarters.
* Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team.
* Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure operational efficiency.

Technical Fit:
* Most likely an MSc/MBA with an accounting focus - a talented, ethical and committed professional with a relevant career and demonstrable successful track record of delivering organizational growth and business re-engineering through leadership.
* Operates at strategic and transactional levels, with a hands-on attitude as required.
* Leader of the finance function, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of monthly close processes and reporting, as well as overall management of the finance function.
* A solid understanding of accounting, reporting, and FP&A processes and systems as a base to develop a strong Finance platform.
* Operational leadership to ensure financial planning and analysis and effective cost control and oversight for the business to provide support to the leadership team.
* Ability to work at a strategic level supporting growth of the business and delivering the Group agenda, whilst also supporting the local team.
* A collaborative and engaging style - working across the business supporting functional leads to deliver their operational plans.
* Understanding the commercial aspects of the business and the drivers that enable successful bid propositions to support our growth and market position.
Working with the Spain MD and the leadership team, this role owns all the financial outputs and reporting into Group, so accuracy and ensuring a best-in-class mindset is fundamental.
