Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales professional to join our team as a Director of Business Development.
In this role, you will be responsible for further developing our TransPerfect Digital engagement model and identifying and engaging with client prospects. You will also manage client relationships throughout the full life cycle of client campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
* Source and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means such as tradeshows and regional organizations.
* Build a productive pipeline and manage each phase of the sales cycle.
* Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients by delivering elite client service and engaging them through expert knowledge of each client's industry and organization.
* Formulate sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
* Generate daily outreach efforts to prospective clients using direct mail, digital marketing, and cold calls.
* Develop an effective understanding of the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of TransPerfect's services.
* Present TransPerfect's solutions to clients via one-on-one, group, online, and in-person meetings.
* Set and manage client expectations while consulting with each client on best practices.
* Manage and control pricing and contractual issues.
* Travel domestically and internationally for conferences, client meetings, and other business purposes.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 years of successful business development experience in a B2B setting with enterprise-level accounts.
* Previous experience within the Digital industry.
