Job Title: Sales Representative for OEM Products and R&D Services
The sales representative will be responsible for maintaining business-to-business (B2B) sales of OEM products and R&D services to existing assigned customers, as well as growing the business within these customers and with new ones.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver sales and gross profit targets for assigned customers
* Contribute to the three-year strategic plan for their area of responsibility
* Provide input to the budget for their areas of responsibility
* Report year-to-date deviations and develop a recovery plan if necessary
* Provide regular 3-month rolling sales forecasts and year-to-go sales updates
* Maintain an up-to-date sales funnel
* Co-lead the core team dedicated to assay development and biomaterials/customized services for assigned customers (when applicable)
* Lead the full quotation process internally
* Be responsible for searching contact persons and keeping the database updated, including influencers and decision-makers in targeted accounts
* Attend trade shows to perform business meetings, generate new leads, evaluate competitors' sales strategies, and identify new markets and customer opportunities
* Contribute to advertising, promotion materials, company presentations, and web information related to OEM services, bulk reagents, and biomaterials
* Negotiate contracts
* Lead and coordinate quarterly review meetings/steering committee meetings with assigned accounts (if applicable)
Networking and Key Relationships:
* Interact with the whole Sales and Marketing team
* Cross-functional collaboration with different stakeholders at Werfen OEM (R&D, Operations, QRA, and Finance) and Werfen Corporate (Legal Department)
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (science or business)
* 10 years of professional experience in a similar position
* Proficiency in Office Tools (Excel & Word) and SAP
* Fluency in Spanish or Catalan, advanced knowledge of English
* Extensive knowledge of IVD market, competition dynamics, and product value proposition
