A Solution Leader owns strategy and delivery for a given solution, end to end, which includes guiding the work of one or multiple delivery squads associated with the solution. A Solution Leader creates a solution roadmap and defines the strategic vision for their team driven by the overall vision. They have a deep understanding of the target market/industry and build close relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the team’s effort is aligned with the overall strategy. A Solution Leader manages dependencies within their delivery team while identifying, building and managing strategic partnerships across different teams. They work closely within their team to ensure business value and that user feedback is translated into new developments when necessary. A Solution Leader will be accountable for specific business KPIs based on the area of the product they are focused on.
Key Accountabilities
Be a key part of a team where you will:
* Lead agile squad(s) and work onsite with the team on a daily basis
* Set ambitious and clear product vision and communicate it effectively to the team, the rest of the Clinical Software unit as well as other stakeholders
* Develop end-to-end team output strategy from inception to production
* Collaborate with stakeholders, such as business and technical, to ensure the digital vision and products align within business strategy and requirements
* Be accountable for product-specific KPIs once the solution enters production; communicate regular tracking to stakeholders
* Utilize market and industry knowledge in AcuteCare diagnostics to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their team. Maintain a backlog of several sprints ahead of the team
* Work closely with Business Units to establish each product’s business value; support messaging, communication and customer outreach as necessary
* Facilitate release planning with stakeholders as well as frequent demos
* Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer-driven design
* Align outward-facing product requirements, stakeholders and Business Partners such as Cybersecurity and Regulatory.
* Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to direct and deliver on go-to-market activities.

The main relationships within the Werfen Group are:
* Factory Lead and Solution Leaders
* Solutions QA Leaders from other factories
* SW Development Teams (Squads) and Chapter Leads
* QARA Manager and QARA Specialist
* Customer
* Application Lifecycle Manager (ALM)
* This position may also require cooperation with other companies inside Werfen.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
Education: Engineer, Computer Science or other Technical degree, or equivalent work experience
Experience:
* Between 3-5 years of relevant work experience within the healthcare industry.
* 2+ years of relevant work experience with agile and scrum, preferred.
Skills & Capabilities:
The ideal candidate for this position will exhibit the following skills and competencies:
* Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Acute Care Diagnostics and Blood gas industry.
* Strong collaborator with experience working in cross-functional teams from tech, design, and business
* Experience with B2C digital products is a plus
* Understanding and knowledge of various roles in regulated industries and how they interact with product offerings
* Understanding of laboratory and clinical workflows as it pertains to diagnostics preferred.
* Ability to manage different priorities and schedules in an agile environment.
* Experience in leading teams, preferably in an agile setting
* Strong leader, collaborator, team player, and individual contributor
* Strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with business and technical stakeholders
* Strong problem solver with the ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
* Passion to challenge the status quo and find new solutions and drive out-of-the-box ideas – loves and embraces change
