Responsibilities / Tasks
The Product Marketing Specialist supports the Product Marketing Manager in managing his / her product categories. He / she will be doing competitive analysis and create sales tools that supports the positioning and messaging of the product categories. He / she will be supporting events, tradeshows, and workshops, by creating content and executing delivery.
General Responsibilities
* Conduct competitive product and pricing analysis for assigned product categories and document them.
* Support the Director of Product Marketing specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by reading travel reports and feedback from the sales team, and from occasional dealer visits.
* Support the sales team in the launch process of new products by giving training and prepare effective tools for presentations and training on new products and technologies.
* Assist in providing advice to the Director of Product Marketing on product pricing based on the competitive landscape.
* Support the Product Marketing Manager in developing ways on how to demonstrate products at events and tradeshows.
* Demo Station Design & Setup: Design, assemble, and configure demo stations to showcase AV products at their full potential.
Requirements
* Technical education in Electronics and / or Electrical engineering or a marketing management degree.
* 2+ years of experience in product marketing or a similar role, preferably within the AV or technology industry.
* Hands-on experience working with AV equipment, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
* Ability to design and set up complex demo stations, and take them apart for reconfiguration or troubleshooting.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English mandatory).
* Good presentation skills.
* The ability to operate self-directed and proactive on given tasks.
* Analytical skills and structured work approach.
