We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Junior IT Support Specialist to provide prompt, on-site technical support as a PART TIME basis (morning). You will be the go-to person for end-user IT requests, responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that our work environment is always productive.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site End-User Support:
Provide immediate, in-person assistance to employees, addressing IT requests and resolving issues efficiently.
Meeting Room & Equipment Checks:
Regularly inspect meeting rooms and critical equipment-including cable management, replacement, and testing-to ensure smooth operation during high-priority events.
Laptop Hardware Repair & Warranty Handling:
Diagnose and fix common laptop hardware issues, perform minor repairs, and manage warranty claims to minimize downtime.
Ticket Management:
Act as the first point of contact for IT support tickets, resolving straightforward issues and escalating more complex problems as needed.
Additional Support Tasks:
Assist with software support for SharePoint, Teams, and Office 365, monitor Vodafone phone line issues, track IT inventory, and help set up equipment and accounts for new hires.
General Qualities:
The candidate should be very polite, have sufficient English for effective conversation, and be punctual.
Key requirements
1-3 years of experience in a technical ICT environment, preferably in a Manufactory based organization
General End User technology knowledge
End User Workspace platforms (discovery, asset management, client management)
End User Microsoft platforms (Active Directory, Office, SCCM)
ITSM Tool Set (Ticket Management Software) preferred
Soft skills: Planning and organizing; Attention to details; Problem solving; Analysis; Flexibility; Customer sensitivity: Technical writing skills.
Excellent English and Spanish Language, Written and Spoken
