We are looking for a Senior Project Manager responsible for end-to-end project delivery and/or operations within the DEV PSPV & GMA sub-domain/sub-capability. This includes handling the design, development, deployment, and delivery of complex projects, project work streams, or sub-projects within critical programs that provide IT solutions.
• Direct project teams, both external and internal, ensuring control over progress, quality, and budget to meet desired business objectives.
• Take charge of organizing and leading all project-related meetings, documenting actions, decisions, issues, and risks, and acting as the main point of contact for any project-related escalations.
• Ensure a smooth transition to operations and efficiently plan and execute all activities associated with a release.
About the Role
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Manage the delivery of internal and outsourced projects from project initiation to transition to operations.
* Monitor and control project execution, establish project governance, managing risks and issues.
* Ensure effective use of resources and project management methods, tools, and practices.
* Deliver projects on time and within budget to meet the desired business objectives.
* Provide transparent and accurate project reporting including overall performance of the project and project documentation completion.
* Own project status, issues, and risks through appropriate channels/tools and ensure that these are reported back to agreed project governance (e.g., Steering Committee) with focus on required actions, ownership, and risk management.
* Accountable to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scope.
* Collaborate effectively with other teams, DDIT Functions and Domains in the organization, as well as strategic suppliers providing services to the project.
Education & Qualifications:
* 12+ years Industry/ Business Exposure, Project Management, People Leadership, Interactions with senior management.
* Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships with key regional stakeholders.
* Well-developed record of successful relationship management, Functional Breadth, Ability to work and lead (a cross-functional team) in a matrix environment.
* Major Change, Collaborating across boundaries, People Leadership, Accountability, Relationship Management.
* Analysing stakeholder requirements, Organizing and planning, Aligning people and resources, Timely decision making, Contracting with Stakeholders, Problem solving, Managing budgets, Change management.
* Knowledge in business domain areas for Medical Affairs would be a plus.
Education & Qualifications:
* University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, business or similar.
