Our team in Granollers currently has an opening for a Sales Manager Iberia.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Product and Business Development:
· Identify and deliver new product and supplier opportunities within the overall segments and utilize customer and market potential to achieve growth.
· Support the sales growth of the product group.
· Provide product-market information to internal stakeholders & review product performance.
· Provide input for supply chain improvements.
* Leadership/Relationships:
· Develop strategic and operational relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the relevant supplier communities.
· Develop strong relationships with Brenntag internal colleagues and have the ability to manage and influence, without having direct authority.
· Lead an internal network for local product management who are focused on the product group to ensure delivery of the strategies.
* Sales Strategy Implementation:
· Define and implement sales strategy and guidelines for Iberia Food.
· Set sales targets, budgets and allocate resources.
· Manage assigned internal and external AM teams.
· Cooperate with Business Development, Customer Service and PM/IMM and share best practices.
· Contribute to product development projects.
YOUR PROFILE
* Experience:
Minimum 10 years of work experience in selling to large and complex, multi-country/regional companies.
· Work experience in international settings.
* Knowledge:
· Master degree (e.g., Food technology, Engineering, Economics) or similar level of education.
* PERSONAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
· Proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
· Track record of developing strong and influential business relationships.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as cultural sensitivity.
· High degree of analytical and conceptual thinking.
· High level of self-motivation and the ability to create opportunities to generate business.
· Ability to take ownership and meet deadlines.
· Enthusiastic, determined and highly motivated.
· Proven teamwork skills with demonstrated abilities to work collaboratively and influence where no formal hierarchical relationship exists (matrix structure).
· Solid knowledge of MRP and CRM systems.
