Veolia Water Technologies Solutions (VWTS)is a worldwide leader in water recovery, treatment, and reuse. We design, supply, and service a range of water systems and monitoring equipment in industries.We are seeking aProject Engineer (H/M/X)to coordinate project activities related to water treatment equipment and chemical dosage and control equipment. The candidate will manage schedules, arrange assignments, communicate progress to all team members, assist with procurement activities, help prepare project documents and reports, and support the service team in identifying and ordering spare parts and small equipment.Reporting directly to the Chemfeed Manager for Iberia, the main responsibilities include preparing action plans, analyzing risks and opportunities, and gathering necessary resources. This role will work closely with a team of Project Managers, Project Coordinators, suppliers, and internal departments essential to each project.Responsibilities:
Schedule regular meetings and record decisions (e.g., assigned tasks and next steps)
Break projects into manageable tasks and set timeframes and goals
Create and update workflows
Conduct risk analyses
Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders
Order resources, such as equipment and software
Retrieve necessary information (e.g., user/client requirements and relevant case studies)
Monitor project progress and address potential issues
Probe suppliers and seek the right tools and equipment for each project
Measure and report on project performance
Act as the point of contact for all project participants
Assist the service team with identification and ordering of spare partsRequirements
Degree in Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering.
Work experience as a Project Manager or similar role or experience in the water treatment field will be valuable
Hands-on experience with flowcharts, technical documentation, and schedules
Knowledge of project management software will be valuable
Solid organization and time-management skills
Team spirit
BSc in Business Administration or related field.
Knowledge and experience with water treatment and chemical dosing
systems will be valuable
