About the Role:
As a Controlling Supervisor, you will be responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A), managerial reporting (actuals, forecasts, and budgets), and business unit controlling. Your role will be crucial in supporting strategic decisions by providing accurate and timely financial insights. You will report directly to the Finance Manager of Volpak.
Main responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage monthly managerial reports, ensuring accuracy in actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
* Supervise and coordinate the Controlling Team delivering the activities with high quality and respecting the due dates.
* Oversee data consolidation and financial reporting.
* Analyze variances from corporate objectives, identifying key areas for improvement.
* Supervise business unit controlling, ensuring alignment with company goals.
* Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth information flow and accurate financial interpretation.
* Support the Finance Manager in preparing ad hoc analyses and reports for top management.
* Assist with cash flow forecasting when needed.
* Serve as the main contact for auditors, Corporate Functions, and other stakeholders.
What You Need to Be Successful:
* Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
* 2–3 years of experience in consulting and 2–3 years in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of SAP and Cognos.
* Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* A proactive approach, ability to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills.
* Experience in project-based businesses is a plus.
