The Opportunity
Location: Barcelona
Reporting to: Global Accounts Director
Region under responsibility: Europe, Middle East Distributors Hub
Reporting to the Global Commercial Director, the Lifestyle Distributors Global Director will play a key role in developing our business in terms of market share, net revenues, and consumer experience across Puig distributors Europe and Middle East, while ensuring sustainable growth.
What you'll get to do
• Define together with the Global Accounts Director short and mid-term overall commercial strategies for the region under responsibility, to reach defined business objectives.
• Select the best Distributor network based on the key markets business potential, retail landscape, and Distributor capabilities.
• Define trade terms and adapt commercial conditions to country and distributor channel strategy to secure brand execution, building sustainable and profitable growth.
• With an entrepreneurial approach and commercial leadership, be capable of looking for ways to set up the business fundamentals and develop action plans to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
• Set the most efficient commercial operations to secure proper customer service, deliveries, and invoicing.
• Responsible for the Area P&L.
• Lead the commercial actions and negotiations with Distributors, working hand in hand with the Brand teams to generate trade and activations plans for the key retailers served by the distributor network.
• Look for opportunities for new account openings and countries in the Area.
• Lead strict control of distribution to protect our brands' equity.
• Work with Customer Development to define the criteria used to assign Sales Representatives and Beauty Consultants to retailers and PoS.
• Coordinate with Marketing to define proper portfolio per Brand and pricing ensuring first-class service is provided to retailers.
• Coordinate with the retail design department on all personalization projects.
• Negotiate A&P programs and supervise and control all A&P investments of the area under responsibility.
• Work to improve space visibility of Puig Brands through negotiation with distributors.
• Provide feedback and information to be used in the Demand Planning process to ensure the correct inventory levels are available.
• Schedule yearly calendar to conduct market visits and meetings with clients.
We'd love to meet you if you have
• Min 10 years’ experience in Commercial and retail leadership positions in the Beauty industry.
• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Luxury Management, or similar.
• Excellent command of Spanish and English; German is a plus.
• Collaborative nature, ability to work with cross-functional teams, act as a true business partner, and build internal/external relationships.
• Strategic Thinking: ability to define priorities and plans to achieve results.
• Flexibility & Time Management: ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and take responsibility for deadlines.
• People Management skills: ability to lead a team, drive performance, and develop team members to their full potential.
• Goal-oriented: business drive to achieve results, sensitivity to luxury, and attention to detail.

• Consumer-focused: understanding of the Europe / Middle East region and diverse consumers to propose ideas that fit the needs and particularities.
• Travel: availability to travel up to 40-50% of the time.
