Responsibilities:
* Prepare the ingredients for Pizza.
* Grate cheese and slice and chop pizza toppings such as vegetables and meat.
* Make fresh tomato sauces if necessary.
* Prepare ingredients for calzones, sandwiches, garlic bread, and simple pasta dishes.
* Turn oven controls to regulate temperatures and set time cycle for baking pizzas.
* Ensure that the kitchen meets safety and health standards.
* Operate and monitor baking equipment and temperature to control appearance of products.
* Check and maintain the cleanliness of equipment and utensils to meet health and safety regulations.
* Perform any other tasks as required by the Executive Chef updated by Cipriani Management from time to time.
Requirements:
* Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
* Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely.
* Ability to walk, stand, and continuously perform essential functions for an extended period of time.
* The ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking.
* Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines under supervisory guidance.
* Auditory and visual abilities to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
* Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
