As a Junior Fermentation Technologist, your mission will be:
* Assess new strains/ferments/cultures to enhance product quality, nutrition, and health benefits across all product categories.
* Manage fermentation in various environments at lab and pilot scale to demonstrate proof of concept and establish ferment characteristics for sensory or functional purposes.
* Integrate emerging technological, molecular, and digital approaches to enhance functionalities for all product categories, focusing on sensory and health benefits.
* Contribute to the fermentation R&I strategy in collaboration with experts in Advanced Technology, Health and Science, and external partners.
* Collaborate and coordinate synergies with other R&I functions, engineering, quality, operations, and Procurement teams.
About you
To be successful in this role we believe that it is positive to have:
* Seeking a Fermentation engineer with expertise in microbiology and biotics.
* 2-3 years of experience in microbiology, culture, and fermentation.
* Experience in dairy culture and biotics is advantageous.
* Utilize microbial tools (metabolomics, proteomics, in silico) to analyze strain physiology in fermentation and digital applications.
