Your mission within Kantox
* Processing incoming and outgoing transactions and ensuring payments are released and processed without delays for our client.
* Assisting with bank enquiries and working closely with our banking partners to resolve settlement queries and other payment processing issues.
* Manage Kantox collateral exposure and our clients margin call processing
* Collaborating with other departments such as our Technology team on automation initiatives and process improvements.
* Work closely with other team members on payment reconciliation related issues and ensuring operational continuance.
* Maintaining organised records and compiling data to assist in adhoc reporting requests.
Who you are
* You have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar
* General interest and enthusiasm for financial markets and banking systems
* Basic financial and operational risk management knowledge
* Nice to have: experience working in a fintech, financial services environment or payments company or position before
Furthermore, we are looking for the following attributes:
* Fluent English language skills; Spanish is considered a plus
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
* Ability to work accurately to deadlines, managing multiple tasks and prioritising deliverables
* Critical thinker, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
