Our Business Development (BDev) team is responsible for leading the sales development of Bamboo Energy at a national and international level.
As a Business Development Manager (BDM), integrated into the BDev Department and depending on the Head of BDev, your main role will be to manage the commercial relationship with new and current customers, maximizing revenues (new opportunities) and the retention rate (ensuring renewals, upselling, and cross-selling) in coordination with the Lead Generation and Products teams.
At Bamboo Energy, we love flexible remote work. We usually meet in person twice a week in our office in Barcelona, hold design sessions, and have fun lunches together.
What will you do at Bamboo?
* Manage commercial relationships with our clients and be the VoC: develop a network, identify the customer’s organigram and key people, understand client’s needs and their strategic plan in energy services.
* Coordinate all the sales cycle of new leads coming from the Lead Generation team to convert them into contracts.
* Maximize the retention rate and existing client’s revenue.
* Identify new business opportunities, evaluating existing/new products and services, preparing and presenting offers and contracts.
* Close follow-up of leads performance and KPIs: follow up on contracts, internal and client’s status reporting, contract execution, and billing/payment follow-up. Intensive use of CRM.
* Work closely and aligned with our Product team to improve the Customer Journey.
* Coordinate and collaborate with other teams such as Administration and Marketing.
* Support other BDev activities such as International Sales.
