1 x Category Manager for Sales & Operations and 1 x Category Manager for Marketing.

About the role:
The corporate procurement team is a new, growing function within SD Worx at an international corporate level.
You will be based in either the UK or Spain as part of the international team.
You will have a strong background in indirect procurement activity and be responsible for the category of either sales (services) and operations spend or marketing spend.
You will be responsible for the international category plan and will collaborate closely with stakeholders across these areas to ensure that we define and deploy sourcing strategy against the business objectives.
You will be responsible for the realization of our savings and value-add activity to drive deeper engagement with the procurement team and show our value contribution.
You will ensure that we achieve group compliance targets in alignment with policies, strategies, and processes.
What do you have to offer?
Strong category management experience managing indirect procurement (sales/marketing categories would be beneficial).
Min. 3-5 years of experience in a similar functional domain or other related position, with knowledge of categories/market at hand.
A Master's degree with emphasis on areas of Business, Economics, Finance, Procurement, Legal, or comparable professional education is beneficial.
Strong experience and background in indirects (ideally professional services) within the procurement domain, preferably at an international level.
Sound knowledge in procurement methodologies, partnering, category management, supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting.
Knowledge of Procurement tools: spend analysis, P2P buying channels.
Experience of working in collaboration with project process management.
Strong analytical, presentation, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
