SALES & PRODUCT MANAGER – B2B- FOOD & NUTRITION
We are currently seeking a Sales/Product Manager B2B for our department of Food & Nutrition within Azelis Spain. This role will be based preferably in Catalonia. Other locations can be evaluated depending on the candidate’s profile.
As an innovative, entrepreneurial sales & product manager, you will report to the Commercial Manager.
The ideal candidate will need to develop business in the Spanish Food & Nutrition Industry, with responsibilities for customers and suppliers.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Grow the business by creating new opportunities in the Spanish market.
2. Develop sales and add new products to the portfolio within the segment.
3. Manage and develop strong working relationships with customers and suppliers.
4. Demonstrate commercial acumen to achieve sales in a highly competitive market.
5. Continually seek new markets and sales opportunities.
6. Develop strong working relationships with the assigned principal(s).
7. Collaborate with the rest of the sales team and customer service department.
8. Deliver first-class service to customers.
KEY SKILLS
Education/Experience
1. 5 years of relevant experience in the B2B sales of Ingredients.
2. Technical background in Food science and technology or similar.
3. Knowledge of the regulatory framework of Ingredients.
4. Excellent English language skills for negotiation with foreign suppliers.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
1. Self-motivated to initiate new initiatives to generate more sales.
2. Passion for selling and promoting Ingredients and specialty products.
3. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
4. Efficient communication, influencing & negotiation skills.
5. Creative in developing new means to generate interest and fill the sales pipeline.
6. Able to adapt to new requirements and have a flexible approach.
