The Opportunity
Mission: Intellectual Property Paralegal within Puig Corporate Legal Services
What you'll get to do
1. Follow-up of administrative prosecution for the management of IP portfolios, in direct contact with External Counsels and under supervision of Legal Counsels, including proposal and implementation of protection plans, opposition proceedings, maintenance and watching processes.
2. Obtention of business information (use, sales figures, etc.), preparation of evidence required in different proceedings, documentation for searches, preparation of signatures and legalizations with Notaries.
3. Management of invoices and budget follow-up.
4. Monitorization of internal IP database update.
5. Providing support in different transversal projects and other IP paralegal work.
We'd love to meet you if you have
1. Experience: more than 4 / 5 years’ experience in a CPI (Conseil en Propriété Industrielle) or Trademark Attorney or IP Legal Firm, or in in-house IP department.
2. Education: University Degree or other post-Secondary Education (Formación Profesional).
3. Languages: Spanish, English.
4. Competencies: Highly enthusiastic and very flexible person enjoying teamwork and with a high cooperation mindset; Analytic skills and critical thinking; Problem-solver; Ability to combine rigor in detail with global vision; Ability to communicate, report and prioritize.
5. Specific Knowledge required: Registration, Maintenance and Enforcement Prosecution of Trademarks, Designs, Domain names, at Worldwide level.
