Business Process Owner: Head of Finance
Mission & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst to support and coordinate financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and spanish regulations. The role is hybrid and requires collaboration within the finance team, review of financial statements, and participation in audit and planning processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting accounting cycle, forecast, budget vs actual, project controlling and Business Central implementations.
* Participate in the preparation of consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, statement of changes in equity, and financial notes) in compliance with IFRS.
* Conduct monthly analytical reviews of the activity providing explanations to senior management.
* Support the effective execution of year-end and interim audits, ensuring auditors receive necessary inputs, data, and documentation.
* Support the forecasting and quarterly/annual planning process, preparing consolidated reports and resolving errors.
* Actively contribute to the new ERP implementation of Business Central, ensuring smooth transition and optimization of reporting processes.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
* + 5 years of experience in Finance/Accounting preparing balance sheet, income statement, cash flow.
* Strong financial and analytical skills
* Excellent communication abilities, to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
* Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Business Central knowledge is a plus.
* Spanish tax regulations knowledge is a plus.
