Position Summary
To manage the Supply Network of the assigned area of the business by replenishing each dispatch point to meet customer service objectives whilst maintaining optimal stock cover that takes into account the distribution costs.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
* Establish the supply plan and net dispatch requirements to ensure Customer Service and satisfy customer needs taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints.
* Load planning: Plan and optimize mixed loads taking into account transportation constraints.
* Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimize costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location.
* Analyze exceptions, take business decisions within agreed Framework (based on priorities or after arbitration and product allocation) and adjust planning results accordingly. Establish production requirements for short and long term and follow up on production plans.
* Establish and periodically review stock policies for Finished Goods.
* Analyze and effectively communicate relevant information to respective Stakeholders. Highlight all supply issues in proper advance. Detailing impacts of proposed actions and related trade-offs. Ensuring actions and Supply Plans are realistic and achievable in accordance with the Business Planning process.
* Challenge Production Planners to manage lot sizes, cycle times to drive optimum FG inventory and required Freshness level. Also challenge Demand Planner to improve Demand Planning Accuracy.
* Ensure proper Master Data settings and Event Management related SNP visibility (launches, re-launches, discontinuations).
ARE YOU A FIT?
* 2 years of previous experience in planning is a must.
* Previous experience in coffee will be a plus.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
