The position involves selling and providing customer project and solution life cycle services, including consulting, project management, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of power solutions at customer sites, in compliance with quality, health, and safety requirements. The assurance of continuous function for AEG PS products and systems will remain at the heart of the activities.
Main Responsibilities
* Visit customer sites as directed to install, maintain, commission, and repair power supply and related systems, including battery maintenance and swap-over.
* Test and replace defective components to ensure systems operate according to pre-defined standards.
* Ensure timely, accurate, and complete documentation related to site visits, including field service reports, expenses, and overtime sheets.
* Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
* Confer with customers and third parties to clarify terms and conditions related to on-site activities.
* Provide technical training and instructions to personnel on the customer site.
* Ensure effective and efficient use of service repair equipment.
* Keep track of necessary calibration or exchange of equipment.
* Ensure health and safety measures are taken before entering customer sites.
* Inform customers about possible system improvements and coordinate follow-ups with the sales team.
* Proactively sell customer services based on (suspected) customer needs, such as offering a maintenance contract if not yet in place or recommending upgrades for overdue products or parts.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Sufficient relevant experience in the repair to component level of electrical/electronic equipment in a field service role.
* Experience with power electronic systems and related installation, maintenance, and service procedures.
* Willingness to work weekends and night shifts to ensure 24/7 availability to clients according to the planning schedule.
* Medical and personal clearance.
