What you will do
The Systems Operations Director is a key role reporting directly to the VP & General Manager of the South Europe region. You will be part of our team for Industrial Refrigeration & HVAC and overseeing and managing a large team of Installation Managers, typically spanning across France, Spain, Portugal and Italy.
As a South Europe Operations Director for Industrial Refrigeration and HVAC, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the Installation operations across South Europe countries. You will be responsible for leading and managing installation teams, ensuring project success, and driving overall business growth within the industrial refrigeration sector.

How you'll do it
1. Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic plans for installation operations in alignment with the company's goals and objectives. Identify operational and growth opportunities, market trends, and capabilities required to expand within the HVAC&R industry.
2. Team Leadership : Lead and manage a team of installation managers and technicians across multiple countries. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
3. Project Management : Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of installation projects. Collaborate with installation managers to develop project plans, allocate resources, and manage budgets effectively. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
4. Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Understand client needs, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure client satisfaction. Act as a point of escalation for any installation-related issues or concerns.
5. Quality Control and Compliance : Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure installations meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance and address any issues promptly.
6. Financial Performance : Monitor and manage the financial performance of installation operations. Analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and implement cost control measures to maximize profitability and achieve business targets.
7. Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of installation processes. Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
8. Health and Safety : Promote a strong safety culture across installation operations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment.
9. Reporting and Analysis : Prepare regular reports and provide insights on installation operations, project progress, financial performance, and other key metrics. Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
What we look for:
* Extensive experience in industrial refrigeration / HVAC installation, with a focus on project management and leadership.
* Fluency in English and French language.
* Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams across multiple countries.
* Strong technical knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia and/or Freon-based systems.
* Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
* Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
* Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to industrial refrigeration installation.
* Willingness to travel as required to oversee installation operations in different countries.
* Proven ability to drive results, meet targets, and achieve business objectives.
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
