About the Team:
You will lead a global team of 10 - 12 members, within the ZF Aftermarket Digital Solutions business line. You can expect an open-minded global team with a high entrepreneurial attitude that wants to drive the transformation!
What you can look forward to as Head of Marketplace (m/f/d):
* Leadership: Lead the global ‘Universal Marketplace’ organization with adherent global marketplace communities of our Aftermarket Division, with ambition to support strategic business goals, influence purchasing decisions at interface between workshop and distribution level, grow our registered workshop customer base, enter into new countries, drive order volume and optimize EBIT, ROI and cash-flow of Marketplace.
* Strategic Orchestration & Planning: Develop, execute and improve business plan and strategy with focus on positioning ZF optimally in the parts B2B marketplace landscape, through either operating, or partnering or supplying relevant marketplace(s) in each region.
* Innovation: Build, manage and refine global ‘Universal Marketplace’ business unit as pioneer with clear USP, full-coverage listings, CX-optimized and AI-driven digital product.
* Growth & Commercial Evaluation: Monitor and improve business and financial performance of Marketplace, internationalize and scale Marketplace across several regions and countries as well as initiate and drive key business and marketplace improvement initiatives.
* Visionary & Analysis: Represent universal marketplace in public domain and in ZF Group. Plan and forecast Marketplace performance based on advanced analytics and results monitoring.
* Influence & Support: Build, coach, grow, retain and inspire an agile, diverse and high-performing Universal Marketplace team. Lead the team by operating with a growth and team-first mindset, with clearly defined roles, career paths, succession plans, and employee success strategies. Ensure state-of-the-art leadership culture, competence, techniques and tools.
Your profile as Head of Marketplace (m/f/d):
* Educational Background: Degree in General Management or a similar field like Business Administration, Business Engineering or technology in general.
* Industry & Leadership Experience: Deep understanding of the automotive aftermarket industry and several years in leading teams on a global level in a matrix organization, ideally in the automotive aftermarket industry (e.g. E-Commerce, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Commercial Teams). Good domain knowledge of E-Commerce, E-Commerce platforms or B2B digital marketplaces is a great plus.
* Analytical skills and KPI driven: The ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance; accountable, tenacious, and relentless about driving results.
* Team Player and Customer-centric attitude: High influencing and impacting skills, managing required organizational transformation as well as talent developments.
* Intra- & Interpersonal skills: Strong global networking skills with ability to build up trust relations with stakeholders and internal knowledge owners across all businesses. Entrepreneurial personality with creative unconventional thinking skills, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty.

* Language Proficiency: You are fluent in English, with strong oral and written communication skills. Any other additional languages is a plus.
