The company supports brands like GoPro, Braun Audio, Marshall, and TEAC in their development and market penetration. Aqipa's services include demand planning, logistics, sales, merchandising, channel marketing, brand building, e-commerce, and social media management. Aqipa boasts a state-of-the-art infrastructure, including an automated warehouse system capable of handling over 43,000 picks per day.
In Spain, Aqipa operates a branch in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona. This branch supports local businesses in Spain and Portugal and offers the same comprehensive services as in other regions to promote the market penetration and growth of the represented brands.
We are currently looking for a Head of Sales to take on the responsibility for the Spanish market.
About the Role
Develop and implement strategic sales plans and objectives to achieve company sales targets and revenue goals in Spain.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to help them achieve individual and team performance targets.
Set sales targets, quotas, and performance metrics for the sales team, monitoring progress and taking corrective action as needed to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Identify and prioritize sales opportunities, target markets, and customer segments based on market analysis, competitive landscape, and business objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Develop pricing strategies, discount structures, and sales incentives to maximize profitability and competitiveness while meeting customer expectations.
Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies with product launches, promotions, and business initiatives.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and innovation.
Implement sales forecasting and pipeline management processes to accurately predict sales revenues, track sales performance, and identify areas for improvement.
Monitor and assess competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments to adjust sales strategies, tactics, and positioning accordingly.
Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions with the sales team to provide feedback, address challenges, and recognize achievements.
Ensure compliance with sales policies, procedures, and regulations, including pricing guidelines, contract terms, and ethical standards.
Manage key accounts and major deals, leading negotiations, resolving conflicts, and closing high-value sales opportunities.
Evaluate sales tools, technologies, and systems to streamline sales processes, enhance productivity, and improve sales effectiveness.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness, generate leads, and build professional networks.
Your Profile:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus and/ or several years of relevant experience in the Consumer Electronics industry.
Proven experience in sales management, business development, or a senior sales leadership role.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM software.
Ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and customer feedback to drive informed decisions.
Strong understanding of the Spanish market and cultural nuances.
Fluency in Spanish and English is required, also in Catalan ideally
