The Opportunity
As a Niche Key Account Manager for the Iberian market, you will be the main point of reference in managing and developing key clients, with a strong focus on the skincare category and luxury perfumery for our Niche brands – Byredo, Penhaligon’s, L’Artisan Parfumeur, and Dr. Barbara Sturm. Your mission will be to drive business growth in skincare and luxury beauty, ensuring the successful execution of the commercial strategy while maintaining a strong and sustainable relationship with clients across Spain and Portugal.
What you'll get to do
CATEGORY GROWTH VISION & STORY SELLING
• Assess and develop the skincare category within each client/channel, identifying key growth opportunities.
• Define strategies aligned with each brand’s objectives, working closely with Marketing & Trade teams.
• Present and sell the Action Plan to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide continuous feedback on client/channel needs to enhance the Marketing and Trade Plans.
• Define the framework for commercial terms and investment across Retail, Digital, and Trade.
• Analyze competition in skincare and luxury perfumery, both in Brick & Mortar and Digital environments.
• Track results and adjust strategies accordingly.
REVENUE GROWTH MANAGEMENT
• Drive profitable growth in the skincare and niche perfumery category for both Puig and the client.
• Define and negotiate the required investment in P&L for assigned accounts and brands.
• Negotiate commercial terms and agreements with clients to maximize payback.
• Manage Credit Risk and forecasting in collaboration with Sales Intelligence and S&OP teams.
• Conduct financial impact simulations and monitor monthly P&L performance.
• Ensure correct pricing implementation and client invoicing.
OMNICHANNEL ACTIVATION MANAGEMENT
• Manage the distribution and omnichannel activation of skincare and fragrance launches.
• Negotiate and implement Trade and Retail Plans across physical and digital channels.
• Oversee the correct implementation of skincare and fragrance assortments in points of sale.
• Coordinate training and in-store activations focused on skincare and niche perfumery with clients.
• Lead the management of in-store materials and the distribution of digital assets.
CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT – JOINT BUSINESS PLANNING
• Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key clients across Iberia.
• Develop joint business plans to drive category growth in each account.
• Identify specific client needs in skincare and luxury beauty and propose tailored solutions.
• Ensure excellence in customer service through order tracking, invoicing, and outstanding charge follow-ups.
We'd love to meet you if you have
• +3-5 years of experience as a Key Account Manager, Trade Marketing Manager, or similar roles in the skincare and beauty sector.
• Proven experience in the fragrance and skincare category (treatments, cosmetics, dermo-cosmetics, or professional skincare brands).
• Experience in aesthetic centers, professional skincare channels is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and data analysis skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related fields.
• Advanced knowledge of Office and SAP.
• Languages: Fluent Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus).
• Key competencies: leadership, results orientation, strategic thinking, negotiation, teamwork, and adaptability to change.
