STD JOBREQ AVATURE 2 - External Title Testing
We are searching for the right person who will be managing the configuring and administrating a defined technology/system (e.g., Hardware, Operating Systems, network and middleware) in support of on-going operations and projects.
* Leads and/or executes the implementation of new systems architectures and infrastructure related projects.
* Responsible for achieving project objectives, managing quality, timeliness, and cost of the deliverables, and reporting project status.
* Provide technical expertise for the planning and definition of new system requirements within approved architectures: perform feasibility and performance studies, including benchmark, capacity planning, sizing, etc.
* Develop appropriate systems recommendations to meet user needs, including system configurations and installation planning.
* Prepare and present technical product information to the user community.
* Identify (preferably proactively), together with the IT solution provider, any shortcomings in performance and propose solutions for their correction. Ensure adequacy of upgrades.
* Implementation and post-installation responsibilities include technical consulting to the user community and providing solutions to software problems.
* Support and be responsible for defined system administration activities on an allocated/defined system or environment.
* Support and improve system environment and services (sizing).
* Support defined areas of the business, e.g., departments or countries in user and operational requirements, troubleshooting, and migration to new versions.
* Write all related documentation (Validation docs, systems proposals/recommendation, etc.).
* Provide input to Service Level Agreements definition.
* Design configuration and administration in support of ongoing projects.
* A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Technology.
* Microsoft MCSA Cloud certification required.
* Background in full stack cloud solutions (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS).
* Middleware/integration technologies, DevOps.
* Dockers and web development technologies (PHP, WordPress, Apache, Maria DB, Drupal, Liferay).
* At least 5 years as an IT System Engineer in a medium/large company (>$300Mn revenue), supporting complex infrastructure setup and sensitive business applications.
* 3 years’ experience with web development technologies.
* Project Management experience in at least 3 mid-large size infrastructure related projects.
