Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and drive the performance of our 4th Party Logistics (4PL) operations for Europe Overland Primary Transport. You will be the primary contact for Bacardi’s European Primary Logistics Control Tower working closely with our 4PL and cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance Bacardi’s European Primary Logistics network.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Operational Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for European Primary Logistics Control Tower. Lead the interface with shipping & receiving locations to ensure E2E execution. Ensure proper escalation protocols are followed for service disruptions, delays, and disputes.
* Performance & SLA management: Monitor, evaluate and manage 4PL performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs. Acts as key user for visibility platforms, governing performance & deviation from performance framework to steer corrective & preventative actions.
* Cost control & budget management: Monitor primary costs for region, managing optimum freight spend with 4PL to ensure adherence to budget & develop proactive solutions to avoid additional costs and identifying value creation opportunities for the business.
* Data analysis & reporting: Analyse carrier performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Presenting performance insights to key stakeholders regularly.
* 4PL Collaboration: Work closely with 4PL provider to implement corrective actions when SLA deviations or improvement opportunities are realised.
* Service optimisation: Responsible for ensuring right service levels to Bacardi’s market 3PL warehouses and distributor warehouses, ensuring seamless logistics coordination through maintaining strong communication with stakeholders to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness.
* Logistics Strategy Alignment: Coordinate short/mid-term operational improvement programs & evaluate delivery of Continuous improvement in operational execution to align logistics strategies with business needs.
* Process Improvement & Compliance: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with logistics policies, carrier agreements, and industry regulations.
* Risk Management & Contingency Planning: Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions in alignment with 4PL (strikes, carrier failures, geopolitical risks) and ensure proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
SKILLS
* Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
* Proven experience (typically +4 years) in logistics, supply chain, business optimisation or related field.
* Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, modelling, and optimization techniques.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Proactive mindset, with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, & make data-driven decisions.
* Ability to build relationships & be a strong team player both within Contractors, Customer & Bacardi.
