NONNA BAZAAR RESTAURANT (Ciutadella de Menorca, SPAIN) is a prestigious and festive venue in Menorca, offering a great concept of fine dining food in a casual yet high-quality service atmosphere.
Your role: We are looking for a talented and professional Restaurant and Event Manager to be responsible for a team and all F&B operations; delivering revenues and profits by developing marketing strategies, financing, and providing appealing restaurant service.
Your activities:
1. Establish restaurant and event business plans by surveying restaurant demand; conferring with community members; identifying and evaluating competitors; preparing financial, marketing, and sales projections, analyses, and estimates.
2. Attract customers by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; evaluating program results; identifying and tracking changing demands.
3. Maintain operations by implementing policies and standard operating procedures; ensuring production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; determining and implementing system improvements.
4. Maintain customer satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiating improvements; building relationships with preferred patrons.
5. Accomplish restaurant and event objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management staff; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
6. Knowledge of budgets, inventory, and cost controls for FOH and BOH.
7. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems.
8. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant and event industry; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
9. Accomplish company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven food and beverage management experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
2. Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
3. Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
4. Strong communication and leadership skills.
5. Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.
6. Guest-oriented and service-minded.
7. Fluency in Spanish and English; French would be an advantage.
