The Talent Acquisition Partner is an integral role supporting Recruiting and HR functions, and contributing to the overall success of the team at the Barcelona sites by providing a high-level candidate and customer experience, administrative support, and delivering operational excellence to the organization.
Responsibilities:
* Manages the recruitment process for manufacturing talent including launching job postings on the career sites, screening candidates based on selection criteria, scheduling complex interviews and managing the talent assessment centre while providing an excellent candidate experience. Interviews include phone, videoconferencing (MS Teams), onsite interviews, and travel (when needed).
* Manages the talent needs for the Barcelona sites including partnering with sourcing agencies and managing the internal recruitment process with hiring managers.
* Works with hiring managers to train and support them in the standard recruitment and evaluation process for candidates.
* Supports data entry in the HRIS System (Workday) including the creation of job requisitions, new hire transactions and employee record changes.
* Supports HR Team with the administration of employment contracts, pre-boarding, onboarding and new hire orientation activities.
* Supports the offer letter and employment contract process.
* Supports the offboarding process for individuals leaving Novanta.
* Supports special Talent Acquisition projects and programs including community partnerships, in-person recruiting events and the college and university program.
* Prepares and distributes metrics reporting.
* Manage on-line resume database to ensure applicant information is current to include: complete applications, background information, identification details, etc.
* Plans and organizes meetings and special events, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
* Uses various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software, to prepare reports and/or special projects.
Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies
* Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources including full-cycle recruitment experience.
* Experience building and cultivating hiring manager relationships as an advisor for recruiting.
* Experience managing large scale hiring initiatives including candidate sourcing, assessment and offer negotiations.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including a proficiency in clear, concise, and compelling oral and written communication in both Spanish and English.
* Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products (MS Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook) specifically scheduling meetings.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
* Ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing work environment effectively balancing and prioritizing multiple projects.
