Responsible for generating leads and setting new business and retention for assigned clients. Assisting in acquiring, developing and growing customer relationships and profitable revenue over the phone to allow the team to meet or exceed revenue and profit goals.
What You Bring:
* Make initial phone contact with assigned customers to discuss their needs and introduce our services, quotes opportunities, build and maintain ongoing relationships and increase business with customer over time.
* Customer acquisition by telephone, online calls and or other actions like webinars and online exhibitions.
* Provide excellent customer service to all accounts and timely follow-up to customer’s requests.
* Work closely with Operations to secure new business.
* Constant follow up of all offers.
* Communication with overseas offices to ensure international and customer requirements are met.
* Existing client portfolio development analysis and control of Shipping Cuts (lost clients).
* Autonomous management of customer complaints and incidents.
* Work with Outdoor Sales to identify and qualify potential business opportunities.
* Set new business appointments for the Outside Sales within the specified territories and record activity in SUGAR (according to SUGAR SOP).
* Ensures high data quality (SUGAR, Offers).
* Taking part in all sales trainings provided and scheduled by Rhenus A&O.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the freight, transportation or logistics industry.
* Ability to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
* Articulate with excellent telephone manner; Comfortable making cold calls.
* Ability to work independently as well as under pressure in troubleshooting situations.
* Possess strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
* Strong service orientation.
* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM experience preferred.
* Positive attitude, and a friendly and professional manner when dealing with customers over the phone and via email.
