WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for a Senior Brand Manager to join our Marketing Ice Cream department in our Barcelona office.
The Snacking Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for the full strategy of ice cream in the snacking market, leading the strategy for one of our main strategic pillars and main sources of growth, while co-leading the channel strategy with our CSP and CD team for convenience.
Also, the Senior Brand Manager is the owner of our Snacking brands. You will lead the development of the national Brand Marketing Plan, within the category plan guidelines, to meet company goals. You will lead a multifunctional team to implement the plan in the marketplace and monitor performance. They participate in various cross-functional teams – NRM, CMI, R&D, Sales, Regional Brand Teams – and externally with local support agencies, both Media and PoS.
You will also bring perspective on performance against monthly targets and respond to category gaps or activation requirements identified through the Business Unit Committee.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Take the BVP and translate it into the BMP.
* Develop and Implement Snacking Strategy: Drive the snacking strategy to achieve market leadership in IC.
* Lead Snacking P&L: Oversee the Profit & Loss for the snacking category, ensuring financial targets are met. Drive growth and profitability of the Snacking platform and brands. Recommend solutions and implement improvements to meet annual targets. Monitor platform performance to implement appropriate plan changes. Provide input to volume forecasting, financial updates and monitor key indicators and drivers of brand performance.
* Lead Cornetto 360 Plan for Spain: Lead Cornetto 360 plan, including media, portfolio management, and alignment with global teams.
* Lead Co-Branding Plans: Develop and execute co-branding initiatives with snacking brands.
* Co-Lead Convenience Plan with CSP: Collaborate with CSP to develop and implement the on-the-go and take-home strategy and plans for the convenience channel.
* Manage and develop 1 direct report.
INNOVATION & RENOVATION:
* Responsible for portfolio management & performance in the different channels.
* Lead Innovation/Renovation programmes for the different channels.
* Define short & long term pipeline for the country and influence local and global teams.
* Lead multi-functional innovation project teams.
CONVENIENCE LEAD:
* Lead the development of draft and final channel plans.
* Responsible for building launch plans and channel strategies.
* Aligned with CSP, set national brand KPI’s and channel marketing strategy and identify relevant in-store solutions.
* Engage with key customers alongside CD.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
* University degree, with an emphasis in business.
* 7+ years experience with exposure in Brand Building, Brand Development or/and Category Management & Sales Management.
* You are a solid analytical thinker and have a P&L owners’ mindset.
* Business planning and implementation experience.
* Passionate, energetic, results-driven individual with proven leadership abilities.
* You are obsessed with agility and simplicity.
* Proficient level of English and Spanish is a must.
* Strong & proven manager of others with a passion for capability building. Ability to lead and motivate a cross-functional team.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and creativity. A supportive team player with a positive can-do attitude.
