ADP is hiring a Senior Data Scientist
In this role, as a data scientist in the People Analytics & Insights team at ADP, you will work to increase data-driven insights to assist our leaders in making better people decisions to add value through improved business outcomes or a better associate experience.
This role is ideal for an individual with a solid foundation in machine learning, programming, and AI, as well as a passion for transforming data into actionable insights. You will be solving complex data problems with a multi-disciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and talent management experts.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day in the life of a Senior Data Scientist at ADP.
* Work with large datasets to collect, process, and integrate data from various sources. Conduct statistical analysis to derive actionable insights. Expertise in data processing and manipulation using Python, R, or SQL.
* Research, develop, and implement robust machine learning models to identify patterns, make predictions, and solve business problems. Test and evaluate models, tune and tweak parameters as needed to improve performance.
* Write efficient, readable code using Python or R to automate tasks and streamline workflows. Strong programming skills, proficiency in Python or R, experience in Cloud platforms AWS, Azure.
* Develop and build AI solutions using deep learning, LLMs, NLP as applicable to business needs. Familiar with AI techniques such as deep learning, LLMs, RAG, and NLP.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML, and data science to propose new methods or tools to improve workflows, enhance model performance, and provide better solutions.
* Communicate insights from analyses to management or stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making based on machine learning and statistical analysis results.
Minimum Qualifications:
Advanced degree (OR equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field. Ph.D. preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a machine learning/data science role.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
* Solid background in Machine Learning algorithms, gradient boosting, tree-based, ensemble, Bayesian, clustering; including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques. Deep knowledge in statistical modeling and methods. Excellent analytical skills – ability to analyze large datasets, detect and correct errors, interpret and report analysis results.
