Offer Description
We are seeking to recruit a support technician for the GreenME project of the BITAL group of Health Science Studies.
The aim of the project is to identify how we can increase contact with nature to improve the mental health of adults in Europe in an equitable way.
Responsibilities
* Interact with individuals with a mental health condition to collect quantitative (questionnaires) and qualitative (semi-structured interviews) data in Mataró and Sant Boi de Llobregat.
* Promote a virtual survey among the most deprived neighbourhoods in Mataró and Santo Boi del Llobregat.
* Participate in activities with actors involved in green spaces and health in Catalonia and identify needs that can be covered by the GreenME project.
* Participate in local, national and international meetings in relation to the activities developed.
* Support in other tasks of the project.
The successful candidate will be awarded a temporary contract until 7 October 2025 on a part-time basis (50% of the working day) with an expected incorporation in May.
The reference headquarters will be located at 22@, Rambla del Poblenou, 156, in Barcelona. However, at the UOC we work with an open work model that combines teleworking with face-to-face work, depending on organisational needs and the nature of the tasks.
Profile Requirements
* Degree in psychology or other medical sciences or degree in environmental sciences, biology, sociology, geography or similar with experience in dealing with people with a mental health condition.
* Knowledge of dealing with people with a mental health condition or bereavement process.
* Proficiency in the Office package.
* C1 level of Catalan and Spanish and B2 level of English.

* Experience as research staff in environmental health projects: both quantitative and qualitative data collection.
* Experience in international research projects.
* Master's degree in public health or similar.
* Knowledge of the UOC's educational model, structure, systems and processes.
