Purpose of the Position
As Segment & Solutions Business Developer for Universal Enclosures, you are the global leader responsible for the technical design of solutions to support sales development on New Energy Landscape Segments such as Power & Grid (Solar, Wind, Green H2), EV Infrastructure, and Data Centers in coordination with the sales organization worldwide. You will become a market expert for the organization, providing expertise and strategic orientations to shape best-in-class solutions and architectures to support the business development of strategic segments in a context of commercial transformation.
You will be the single point of contact for the solutions’ deployment within the different targeted accounts at a global level and mostly via the country operations’ commercial set-up. You will work together with both Global and Local stakeholders including Sales Account Executives, Sales Directors & Representatives, and liaise with our Corporate Segment Experts and our in-plant Technical Design Offices in Spain & France.
Job Description and Missions
As Segment & Solutions Business Developer, your missions will include:
1. Adoption of the Segment & Solution approach: lead and be responsible for the solutions design and promotion to support sales development & profitable growth by segment in coordination with the sales ops.
2. Expand customer base on targeted Segments and Key-Accounts to support regional growth.
3. Manage Multi-Country Strategic Accounts strategy for the overall Enclosures & Thermal Solutions portfolio through deep customer relationship.
4. Support the local commercial teams on pre-sales process follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction for tailored VIP projects.
5. Definition of Specification strategy and content to expand global customer base and conversion of End-Users and regional deployment.
6. Participate in the segment strategy planning process: define the Unique Value Proposition for Universal Enclosures Line of Business.
Scope of the Offer
The scope concerns all Universal Enclosures offers and software with a focus on Project & Solutions to increase the coverage on Multi-Country Key Accounts and develop customized and engineered offers.
Education and Experience
Type of training (nature, level): Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Marketing or a related field is preferred. 5+ years working in business development activities with knowledge of the industrial processes and solution business applied to electrical distribution and automation & control panels. Proven Experience in managing and growing sales, especially in a B2B set-up. Business Acumen on infrastructures for Photovoltaic, Electrical Vehicles and/or Data Centers applications are a plus.
