Global Ingredient Supply Planning Manager - Sant Celoni - Your Future position?
Overall mission: Ensure seamless supply chain operations by aligning demand and supply strategies from end to end for a dedicated portfolio of Ingredients (Ambrofix family). You will collaborate with the commercial team, Formula Management, and Global Demand to validate accurate demand forecasts within the system. Your role will work in close coordination with local Operations, external toller companies, regional transportation teams and any other required area to develop and implement supply plans to guarantee product availability, improve the supply chain and optimize inventory levels to meet customers’ expectations. You will be based in Sant Celoni (Spain) and report to the Global Head of Ingredients Supply Chain.
You will:
Strategy Design and Execution
* Collaborate with teams in Operations and Procurement to set up the best strategies for the supply chain from raw material to finish goods.
* Provide main supply and production capacity inputs to the global Operations plans and help design the strategies for the future.
* Lead supply operations, defining and measuring performance to ensure supply to Customers. Define related goals and Indicators.
Function Management
* Manage participation and contribution in the S&OP process of Procurement, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and any other area where applicable. Manage needed communications around it.
* Participate in projects to improve the supply of the assigned portfolio, planning systems and tools, business strategy and adjacent areas.
* Provide tactical support for the portfolio on risk management, budgeting purposes and crisis management; be an escalation point for resolution of problems, complaints and prioritization issues including global allocation and leading discussion with impacted areas.
* Conduct service & root cause analysis and engage with the sites & regions ensuring to deliver supply security for affiliates and customers.
* Analyse and implement globally optimized inventory and cost improvements in collaboration with local and regional partners, address and act on SLOB or supply risk accordingly.
* Provide support to other global supply chain processes including OBCPs.
You:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related discipline.
* MBA or Master’s degree in a technical field.
* 7 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations with a background in supply chain planning, quality and/or materials management, including exposure to business process redesign and systems implementations.
* 2 to 5 years of experience in stakeholder or critical partner management.
* Desired experience as a Supply Planner for the chemical, food, pharmaceutical or similar industries.
* Expertise in Supply Planning and knowledge of Supply Chain. APICS Certification as a plus.
* ERP/MRP expertise. Affinity to systems and analytical tools (SAP, BI, BO, and IBP).
* Understanding of Forecasting (Statistical Models).
* Advanced experience with Excel (can perform complex functions) / Google Sheets.
* English and Spanish proficiency; French and Catalan desired.
* Continuous Improvement knowledge/certification.
