The Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies Group is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to develop his/her project to work in 3D bioprinted scaffolds for bone regeneration. This researcher will join an international multidisciplinary team focused on the development and knowledge transfer to industry of innovative biomaterials and scaffolds for tissue regeneration.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Synthesis and characterization of 3D bioprinted scaffolds involving extracellular matrix and hydrogel-based bioinks.
* Designing and executing in vitro experimental procedures regarding the group's projects, including:
o MATERIALS CHARACTERIZATION
o BIOMOLECULAR SIGNALLING AND CELL INTERACTIONS
Requirements for Candidates:
* PhD in nanotechnology, bioengineering, biotechnology or related fields.
* Experience in biomaterials synthesis and biological characterization.
* Background in 3D printing and bioprinting is highly valuable.
* High motivation and ability to be involved in an international multidisciplinary team.
* Competencies and skills: communication, teamwork, proactivity, commitment, collegiality, integrity, critical and analytical thinking.
* High level of English proficiency.
