The Opportunity
In this role you will be entrusted with the development of our Lifestyle brands’ portfolio —Adolfo Domínguez, Victorio & Lucchino, Antonio Banderas, Benetton, among others— to their highest potential in the Spanish market. Your mission is to lead the marketing and trade team to bring these love brands to life, creating unforgettable experiences for consumers while driving business growth. By translating global brand strategies into impactful local plans, you will craft compelling brand stories, deliver outstanding go-to-market strategies, and ensure flawless execution across all channels.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of these brands by blending creativity with analytical precision, ensuring they not only captivate hearts but also deliver strong business results. Working closely with cross-functional teams and inspiring your direct reports, you will make a lasting impact on the fragrance landscape in Spain.
What you'll get to do
• High-Performance Team Leadership: Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Brand Strategy & Elevation: Develop and implement the Marketing & Trade Plan for the Brands to maximize their potential in the market.
• Go-to-Market Excellence: Master category distribution landscape and retailer’s dynamics in order to secure effective visibility and promotional strategies tailored to each channel to maximize portfolio potential in partnership with commercial teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Brands, Commercial, Demand Planning, Retail Activation, Media, PR and In-Store teams to secure business levers orchestration and excellence in plans’ execution.
• Winning Innovation: Collaborate closely with global brands’ teams and local commercial team to identify market opportunities and secure a competitive innovation pipeline.
• Consumer-Centric Approach: Align global brand initiatives and local plans with consumer insights, ensuring relevance and resonance in the Spanish market.
• Omnichannel Activation: Lead the orchestration of omnichannel strategies, including:
• Media and digital plans in collaboration with local media team and agencies.
• Robust PR and training initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
• Retail Activation plans to maximize online and offline permanent visibility while securing effective temporary activities, ensuring memorable consumer experiences with consistent brand expression across touchpoints.
• Business Analytics & Insights: Analyse business data, monitor sell-in and sell-out performance, to identify and provide actionable insights and recommendations to brand, multifunctional teams, and top management.
• Budget ownership: Plan and manage A&P budgets with precision, ensuring efficient investment allocation. Constantly evaluate and reallocate resources to maximize impact and drive profitability.
• Forecasting & Inventory Optimization: Lead the forecasting process, ensuring alignment with budget targets. Develop and implement plans for obsolescence management and excess inventory reduction.
We'd love to meet you if you have
Experience:
• At least 3-5 years as Marketing Manager or Trade Mktg manager, preferably in a beauty or FMCG company.
• Experience in team management.
Education:
• Business Administration, International Marketing.
Languages:
• Spanish and English.
