In our IT & Cybersecurity laboratory, we are accredited to carry out a wide range of security evaluations for payment schemes, identification systems, and IT security.
We specialize in evaluating embedded systems to ensure these devices can operate together within a robust security environment.
We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join our team and participate in a diverse range of technical projects, from evaluations following established methodologies and guidelines to custom ad-hoc assessments for our clients, as well as contributing to internal R&D projects focused on new attack techniques, tools, and automation.
What will your day-to-day look like?
* Design, implement, and optimize digital and analog hardware systems using VHDL and Verilog.
* Develop and validate microcontroller-based solutions, ensuring efficient internal architecture utilization.
* Apply microelectronic principles and integrated circuit design techniques to create robust hardware solutions.
* Schematics design and PCB Routing
* Develop firmware using C, C++, Assembler, and Java for embedded systems.
* Utilize scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.) for automation, testing, and debugging.
* Implement signal processing techniques and communication protocols to enhance system performance.
* Utilize standard laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic analyzers, etc.) for hardware validation.
* Conduct debugging, performance analysis, and system optimization to ensure functionality and reliability.
* Write and maintain technical documentation using XML and MS Office tools.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware specifications and ensure seamless integration.
* Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving hardware-related challenges.
* Stay up to date with industry advancements and emerging technologies in hardware development.
Requirements
* Advanced Knowledge of hardware languages (VDHL, Verilog)
* Advanced knowledge of the internal structure and operation of a micro-controller.
* Fundamentals of microelectronic technology and integrated circuit design.
* • Programming languages: C / C ++, Assembler, Java, MATLAB and scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.).
* Knowledge of standard laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator logic analyzer ...).
* Knowledge of signal processing and communication protocols.
* Used to write Technical documentation (use of XML, MSOffice). • Highly motivated to solve problems and challenges.
