RDM Group is looking for a Mill IT Manager to join the IT Team based in the mill in Mollerussa.
The Mill IT Manager is in charge of ensuring the regular running and security of the company’s IT and administrative environment. This role coordinates procedures in the IT department, supports departments, drives projects, and manages all technical-administrative processes. The manager improves work processes organization through EDP systems use, optimizes the company’s internal processes, minimizes costs through efficient data elaboration, enhances user services, and updates the hardware environment. Additionally, this position coordinates relationships with external service partners and providers.
Accountabilities:
* Planning IT projects and systems.
* Coordination of collaboration with different departments or external service providers.
* Developing IT general ideas and supporting the company’s decisions to leverage information and communication technologies.
* Ensuring access to the internal network from anywhere at any time, even in the presence of large networks.
* Supporting management within the information technology area.
* Organizing and planning user support, system assistance, and applications development.
* Setting IT standards and guidelines.
* Data structure, application, and technology development.
* Ensuring specific quality of work results, compliance with deadlines and budget limits, monitoring performances, and target achievement.
* Organizing and controlling work processes.
* Maintaining architecture.
* Proper selection, purchasing, adjustment, and introduction of hardware and software.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
* At least 5 years of experience, preferably in modern and diversified groups.
* Good knowledge of English; knowledge of Italian, German, or French is a plus.
* Ability to effectively set priorities and make responsible decisions.
* Independence and a strong work ethic.
