Job Purpose
This role is integral to driving revenue optimization across a portfolio of routes, leveraging market insights, and leading a team of skilled analysts in achieving revenue targets.
Main Accountabilities
1. Ensure maximum occupancy and revenue generation by balancing supply and demand through effective price setting.
2. Achieve or surpass predefined revenue targets through strategic planning and execution.
3. Identify opportunities and threats in the market, enabling strategic decision-making for route optimization.
4. Deliver yearly revenue uplift through process and ecosystem efficiencies.
5. Extract meaningful insights from data sets, leading to informed decision-making and strategy development.
6. Foster accountability and continuous improvement consistent with company goals.
7. Ensure effective revenue management processes, reduced errors, and better overall performance.
8. Ensure team competency and consistency in revenue.
9. Deliver collaborative projects supporting revenue generation.
10. Ensure cross-functional communication to deliver results.
11. Fulfill the mission of the job if it is in the employee's hand.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
1. Analyze market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and alert the team to opportunities and risks considering demand forecast and revenue targets.
2. Proactively propose adjustments in different market strategies to establish and meet revenue targets.
3. Monitor the performance of a group of routes, proactively testing and analyzing alternative optimization strategies.
4. Lead process improvement and projects based on automation tools, reports, and digitalization to sustain revenue initiatives.
5. Challenge results and incorporate ideas to improve year-over-year (YoY) results; ensure data-driven decisions are taken.
6. Supervise and lead a team of revenue management analysts and specialists providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure company objectives are met.
7. Train the team in best practices and verify that actions are implemented.
8. Organize and manage the team, promoting their development, teamwork, and communication.
9. Influence and collaborate on the development of cross-company projects, lead execution and on-time delivery.
10. Communicate effectively to management and key stakeholders about diagnosis, results, and revenue strategies to drive results.
11. Perform any other responsibility or function that is assigned inherent to the job.

Education
1. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience
1. +5 years of progressive experience in revenue or commercial functions within the airline industry, including team management.
2. Experience in aviation or similar industries is highly desirable.
3. Proven ability in managing data, setting prices, strong analytical skills, and pricing control.
4. Previous experience in a role requiring analysis and strategic decision-making.
Competencies
1. Expert in market analysis, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization.
2. Understanding of industry-specific market dynamics.
3. Experience in team management (coaching, leading).
4. Knowledge in database management and data visualization (Tableau, Tableau prep, Alteryx).
