SAP Senior Business Analyst
Our opportunity
Join our team to collaborate with internal Zurich Finance teams and external IT suppliers on Business-as-Usual Change Requests and participate in various projects. Your role will involve analyzing business requirements, translating them into detailed IT specifications, and working with internal and external IT teams to develop solutions within our Global Finance Core SAP Platform. You will oversee the development and delivery of IT solutions to ensure they meet both business and IT requirements.
Your role
As an SAP Senior Business Analyst (FICO - Integration), your key responsibilities will include:
1. Gathering and analyzing business requirements.
2. Understanding customer processes and products and aligning them with the goals of the business unit and the Global Finance Core Platform.
3. Defining project scope for interfaces and developing functional specifications.
4. Preparing SDLC-compliant preliminary Systems Design documents.
5. Demonstrating a strong understanding of complex integration patterns, technologies, and reusable components.
6. Collaborating with technical roles and comprehending technical concepts related to SAP development and integration.
7. Documenting all new and modified solutions to be implemented.
8. Supporting and performing application testing, implementation, and training activities.
9. Conducting quality review checks on Change Request/Project deliverables.
10. Providing consultancy and support to Finance teams in their use of SAP/Integration Solutions to achieve business objectives.
11. Ensuring customer centricity and data security are integral to all proposed business and IT solutions.
12. Managing day-to-day prioritization of work on capabilities in collaboration with the business.
13. Performing Business Process Modelling and Business Process Re-engineering as needed.
14. Understanding the overall requirements and solution design across multiple workstreams, including the end-to-end view of any system changes.
15. Working with the business to shape the business case and providing expert consultancy.
Your Skills and Experience
As a Senior Business Analyst, your skills and qualifications ideally include:
1. 3-6 years of Business Analysis experience with the ability to work independently. Awareness of a broad range of analysis and modelling techniques. BAEP or equivalent qualification.
2. 4-5 years of experience in SAP/Interface analysis, design, and implementation.
3. A university degree in IT and/or Business or equivalent experience.
4. Experience with Data integration flows, ETL, and APIs.
KNOWLEDGE
1. Strong understanding and demonstrable experience in SAP FICO version ECC 6 and knowledge of SAP S4HANA.
2. Experience in SAP/Non-SAP interfacing landscape, SAP process integration and orchestration architecture, and preferably SAP Cloud Integration and REST APIs.
3. Detailed understanding of one or more business area processes and procedures.
