Onsite Search Expert
An onsite search expert focuses on making a website search engine friendly by adjusting certain elements of the website. This is also known as on-site SEO, which focuses on changes that can be made to a website to improve rankings. Onsite search optimization aims to get customers the products they want quickly.
Location: Barcelona Sant Cugat – Spain
Hybrid work: 2 days in a week onsite.
Years of experience needed: 10+ Years (Do not share SEO profiles, we need senior profiles with Onsite Search.)
Technical Skills:
* Create a robust on-site search strategy for digital direct business.
* Own on-site search regionally, contributing to company-wide knowledge by sharing best practices with stakeholders.
* Ensure best relevancy for onsite searches.
* Continuously increase the click-through rate and conversion rate for the keywords being searched on site stores.
* Continuous optimization of the search bar results (pinning, boosts, synonyms, popular search keywords, redirects, etc).
* Optimize search result page (SRP) dash facet optimization, product spotlights, category links, promotion banners, campaigns, etc.
* Plan and execute upsell and cross-sell campaigns on various real estates in the stores by leveraging the tools' capabilities.
* Work together with the e-commerce merchandising team on a roadmap and create and execute optimization activities.
* Perform keyword searches in coordination with business objectives to optimize existing onsite search experience and define new opportunities.
* Address pain points for the search keywords and improve relevancy and results accordingly.
* Quality control ensuring the best relevancy and end-to-end experience (audit and analyze).
* Provide feedback to the merchandising team on the performance of keywords and recommend plans to improve the click-through rate of low-performing keywords.
* Minimize the search result pages with 0 results to avoid exits from the online stores.
* Communicate performance and initiative status to stakeholders in monthly business reviews.
* Stay on top of trends related to search and onsite search optimization and leverage applicable practices to fuel growth in the online store ecosystem.
* Leverage tools to personalize onsite search experiences based on user behavior, browsing history, etc.
* Data analytics, campaign management knowledge, and data obsession.
* SQL knowledge, web analytics (HTML).
Certifications Needed:
* SQL or HTML or any email campaigning tools certification.
Only interaction with Merchandising + Adv teams NPI and campaigns. Analyzing Google Analytics data and making insights.
