SALES MANAGER – B2B- FOOD & NUTRITION
We are currently seeking a Sales Manager B2B for our department of Food & Nutrition within Azelis Spain. As an innovative, entrepreneurial sales manager, you will be reporting into the Commercial Manager. The ideal candidate will have to develop business in the Spanish Food Industry, having responsibilities mainly with customers and suppliers.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Grow the business creating new opportunities in the assigned market.
2. Travel frequently to visit customers.
3. Develop sales and add new products to the portfolio of products within the segment.
4. Manage and develop strong working relationships with customers.
5. Commercial acumen, achieve sales in a highly competitive market.
6. Continually seek new markets and sales opportunities.
7. Collaborate with the rest of the sales team and customer service department.
8. Deliver a first-class service to customers.
KEY SKILLS
Education/Experience
1. 3-6 years of relevant experience in the B2B sales of Ingredients.
2. Technical background in Food science and technology or similar.
3. Knowledge about regulatory framework of Ingredients.
4. Experience in hydrocolloids highly valued: stabilizers, texturizers, pectins, gellan, carrageenan, xanthan gum, and starches.
5. Excellent English language skills for negotiation.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
1. Self-motivated to start up new initiatives to generate more sales.
2. Passion for selling and promoting Ingredients and specialty products.
3. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
4. Efficient communication, influencing & negotiation skills.
