Job Purpose
This role is integral to driving revenue optimization across a portfolio of routes, leveraging market insights, and leading a team of skilled analysts in achieving revenue targets.
Main Accountabilities
* Ensure maximum occupancy and revenue generation by balancing supply and demand through effective price setting.
* Achieve or surpass predefined revenue targets through strategic planning and execution.
* Identify opportunities and threats in the market, enabling strategic decision-making for route optimization.
* Deliver yearly revenue uplift through process and ecosystem efficiencies.
* Extract meaningful insights from data sets, leading to informed decision-making and strategy development.
* Foster accountability and continuous improvement consistent with company goals.
* Implement effective revenue management processes to reduce errors and improve overall performance.
* Ensure team competency and consistency in revenue management.
* Fulfill the mission of the job as assigned.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
* Analyze market trends and competitor pricing strategies, alerting the team to opportunities and risks based on demand forecasts and revenue targets.
* Proactively propose adjustments in market strategies to establish and meet revenue targets.
* Monitor the performance of a group of routes, testing and analyzing alternative optimization strategies.
* Lead process improvement projects based on automation tools and digitalization to sustain revenue initiatives.
* Challenge results and incorporate ideas to improve year-over-year (YoY) outcomes; ensure data-driven decisions are made.
* Supervise and lead a team of revenue management analysts, providing guidance and support to meet company objectives.
* Train the team in best practices and ensure actions are implemented; participate in team member selection processes.
* Organize and manage the team, promoting their development and communication within the company.
* Influence and collaborate on cross-company projects, leading execution and ensuring on-time delivery.
* Communicate effectively with management and key stakeholders regarding diagnosis, results, and revenue strategies.
* Perform any other responsibilities inherent to the job as assigned.

Education
* Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience
* 5+ years of progressive experience in revenue or commercial functions within the airline industry, including team management.
* Experience in aviation or similar industries is highly desirable.
* Proven ability to manage data, set prices, and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
* Previous experience in roles requiring analysis and strategic decision-making.
* Expertise in market analysis, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization.
* Understanding of industry-specific market dynamics.
* Experience in team management (coaching and leading).
* Knowledge of database management and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx).
