FUNCTIONS: The SBM will be responsible for Brand plans and execution, portfolio, and product management. This can either be the launch of an invention, the adaptation of existing product (distribution) or an upgrade of packaging (redesign). The job includes:
* Working alongside (group) brand managers on initiating Long Term (3 years ahead) and Short Term (1 year ahead) brand and product strategy and marketing plan.
* Brand strategy plans and execution for all markets.
* Pro-active sales performance management and monitoring and redirect when necessary.
* Trade marketing/NPD/research and liaising with local marketing/sales.
* Continuously initiating quality and assortment improvements.
* Responsible for briefings:
* Product (Standard, current assortment, new product development, innovation projects)
* Packaging artwork and user manuals related to the brand and/or product for all markets.
* Responsible for (launch) deployment and follow-up.
* Responsible for product content together with Content manager, ensuring consistency and completeness: video and photo for comms materials, including approval of content.
* Trainings on product.
* Product market launch plans, including launch briefing, planning, forecasting, and business case.
* Initiating and approval on Central product projects/promotions (theme/financials), sell-outs.
* Research: briefing and support qualitative & quantitative research for brand, product, etc.
* Direct report into: Group Brand Director
* Direct reports: brand managers
* Working alongside:
* Internally: (Central) Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Innovation Team, Product Development
* Externally: licensed partners, distribution partners, copywriters, agencies
Education and experience:
* Minimum: University degree in marketing, business administration or any other related field (Bachelor / Master / Diploma)
* Clear Marketing knowledge
* Excellent project management skills
* Experience with working with and responsibility for deadlines.
* Ability to work on a variety of projects at the same time with deadlines.
* Affinity with company products, knowledge of and experience with toy market is preferred.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
* Minimum career experience in a similar role of 5 years.
