Main Challenge
As part of the marketing team, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of esports deals from start to finish. This involves coordinating with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless campaign implementation, managing multiple moving parts such as asset creation, scheduling, and communication. You will oversee the planning and deployment of physical events, ensuring they are properly executed. You will ensure that each deal not only aligns with the strategic goals of the company but also delivers measurable value to partners and engaging experiences for players.
Your goal is to ensure these events captivate players and viewers, whilst accurately representing our brand, and the partner brands.
Additionally, you will establish and nurture relationships with existing and prospective partners to secure future collaborations.
Daily Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary contact for all esports-related activities.
* Participate in calls and email threads with partners to align on goals and expectations.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all upcoming partnership needs are aligned and adhere to a shared schedule.
* Request, receive, organize, and manage all necessary assets for partnerships, including key art, logos, and promotional materials.
* Facilitate the negotiation and signing of contracts with partners.
* Collaborate with data and analytics teams to set up traffic and conversion tracking for measuring campaign success.
* Manage KPI reporting for internal teams and external partners.
* Assist in forecasting potential revenue, marketing exposure, and ROI for partnership campaigns.
WHO YOU WILL BE WORKING WITH
A lot of people! This is a role which places importance on keeping stakeholders aligned, so you will have a lot of contacts. Your main role will be implementing esports competitions for Asphalt Legends Unite along with our Senior partnerships and Esports lead (Camilo) and our Partnerships Manager (Sergi), in support of our global sales team.
You will be a member of the Asphalt Legends Unite marketing team, which is composed of 10 people, but you will also be part of the bigger Asphalt Legends Unite game team family in the Barcelona studio. On top of that you will get to work with experts in a range of other fields (sales, legal, data protection, product...) and, of course, all of our partners.
This role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in the growing esports ecosystem while working with top-tier partners and innovative campaigns. If you're a proactive, detail-oriented team player with a passion for gaming and esports, we'd love to hear from you!
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
* A meticulous organizer who excels at managing multiple asset production pipelines while maintaining clear schedules and deadlines for all stakeholders involved.
* A skilled communicator and diplomat, capable of collaborating effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
* Above all, a motivated and passionate individual eager to contribute to the growth and success of esports projects.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
* Experience: At least one prior work experience, preferably in online entertainment or a related field.
* Esports and Gaming Knowledge: Knowledge and passion for video games and esports, including what makes a competition engaging and successful.
* Organizational Skills: Exceptional planning and organizational capabilities, with experience implementing processes across events and partnerships.
* Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented and systematic in your approach to work.
* Team Collaboration: Proven ability to coordinate efforts across internal teams and external partners, while taking the lead in executing agreements.
* Communication Skills: Fluency in English, both conversationally and in copywriting.
* Industry Insight: Strong knowledge of the esports industry, including trends and best practices.
* Travel availability: in 2024 for instance, we went to Gamescom - Germany, Circuito de Jerez – Spain, Sant’Agata – Italy, etc.
